For my honors thesis, my partner Mizuki and I conceived and developed a functional prototype of a music therapy application, designed to enhance the mental well-being of older adults. My involvement encompassed rigorous research, meticulous wireframing (both low and high fidelity) using Figma, video production and editing, as well as the creation of a distinctive brand identity.
Developing an app for older adults' mental wellness
My partner and I researched the use of technology in music therapy and created a comprehensive application based on core tenants of music therapy. Starting with handrawn wireframes and rough brainstorms, we built our idea into a functional prototype in Figma. The full thesis will be published in early 2024... here's a preview!
